The three components of the Dashboard are the 1) sidebar, the 2) top navigation menu, and 3) the diagram display.
1. The sidebar
Switching Spaces. Clicking on your profile picture opens a dialogue box that shows the profile picture associated with your private account and any organizations that you are a member of. Click the image of the desired organization you want to open. (Note: This is exclusively for Cacoo for Business and Education users.)
Browse folders. Just like in Google Drive, you can create and share folders. To find out how to move diagrams to a folder, see the “Diagram Viewer” support document under Diagram Action.
2. Top Navigation Menu
Switch spaces. If you don’t feel like using the sidebar to switch between spaces, you can also use the tab at the top of the window (labeled “Private” in the image) to do so.
Announcements. If the bell icon is pink and appears to be ringing, that means we have some news! This notification could be an update, a maintenance announcement, an event, etc.
Manage your account. In the top-right corner, you’ll see your profile picture again. Clicking this tab opens a drop-down menu with options to personalize your account.
3. Diagram Display
Creating diagrams. You’ve probably already figured out that the large plus button is how you create new diagrams. All of your diagrams will appear in the Dashboard.
Keeping track of sheets. In Cacoo, limits are regulated by the number of sheets rather than the number of diagrams. One way to think of it is to compare it to Google Sheets. Each diagram can have multiple tabs, which we call sheets. See Plans & Pricing for each plan’s limits.
Sorting, searching, and filtering. You may sort diagrams alphabetically or by the creation date.
You can also view them as a list or by different grid sizes.
If you can’t find the diagram you’re looking for, try looking up the title of the diagram using the search bar. If that doesn’t work, you can also filter diagrams by diagram type and owner.
Previewing or editing diagrams. Diagrams display as thumbnails on the Dashboard. Clicking on the thumbnail will take you into the Diagram Viewer, which you can read more about here.
To edit the diagram, you must click the pencil icon that appears when hovering over the thumbnail.
